Let Ullman Oil, Inc.
worry about keeping your oil tank full. Our computer system will monitor
your heating usage along with weather trends so you get the right amount of heating
oil you need, when you need it. Our systems monitor the temperatures on the local and
state levels ever day. Using a "Degree Day" measuring system, we calculate how
cold it has been over a period of time and compute your fuel usage accordingly. We then
will automatically deliver fuel to your home to keep your fuel supply from getting low.
Our system allows us to keep your oil supply consistent, eliminating drawdowns to low
levels. This "No-Worry" option ensures uninterrupted fuel availability.
Will Call Delivery Option
Many customers prefer to call in and order their deliveries of heating
oil. Please remember to give sufficient lead time for delivery during regular business
hours. Severe weather and hazardous road conditions, as well as daily business conditions,
are factors that help determine Will Call delivery schedules. Give us a call before your
oil level gets too low and it becomes an emergency.

Preventative Maintenance and Service Tips
(for home heating customers)
Tank Inspection. Visually inspect your above ground outside or
inside basement tank for damage or for shifting. Make sure that proper footing is in place
so the base or "legs" of the tank are firm. Tank should be painted and/or free
of rust. Make sure that oil level gauge is operating properly and not broken.
Fill Pipes. Fill pipe and vent pipes should be clearly
marked or painted. A concrete pad or similar waterproof shield should be placed underneath
the fill pipe to catch any oil drops that may fall during oil filling. Make sure that
there are no gaps or cracks where the pipes enter the home. Gaps or cracks can be filled
with aeresol foam insulation. If you are concerned about vandalism or foul play, then
purchase a locking cap for your fill pipe.
Keep Tank area Clear. Don't use the area below, above or around
your Oil tank (inside or outside) for storage. Damage to your tank may occur if objects
are bumped into the tank or scraped beneath or above the tank. Clutter around a tank also
makes it difficult to perform an adequate inspection of the unit.
Inspect you entire heating system occasionally. Keep an eye out for
any leaks, or small spills. Although leaks are unlikely, it pays to be aware of your
system.
Winter Tips. Keep fill pipe and area near fill pipe clear of snow
and ice. Try and keep driveway clear and open for Oil Service Delivery person. Also try to
keep house numbers clear and readable. These winter tips help make delivery quick and safe
for our drivers.
Annual Furnace Service. Have your furnace checked yearly,
before the heating season starts. Make sure that you have a qualified service technician
do the inspection. If you live in the Chagrin Falls area call:
